The second season of ‘stories not to sleep‘ on Amazon Prime Video, a remake of the emblematic series by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, that collection of stories with which television changed in Spain, has begun filming. If in the first collection of chapters were Rodrigo Cortes, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Paco Plaza and Paula Ortiz those who dared to emulate Ibáñez Serrador by immersing themselves in terror and science fiction as Hitchcock himself would have allowed, the collection of filmmakers from this new stage is no less interesting since it has Alice Waddington, Jaume Balaguero, Nacho Vigalondo and Bald Savior.
Produced by VIS, Paramount’s international studios division, in collaboration with the production company Prointel and Isla Audiovisual for Amazon Prime Video, the new season is preceded by the important awards received by the first, including best fiction series at the Forqué Awards and best dramatic series at the Feroz Awards. Alice Waddington (‘Paradise Hills’) will direct ‘The Nightmare’, Jaume Balaguero (‘[•REC]’, ‘While you sleep’) ‘The TV’, Nacho Vigalondo (‘Timecrimes’, ‘Extraterrestrial’, ‘Colossal’) ‘The Alarm’ and Bald Savior (‘1898. The last of the Philippines’, ‘Adú’) ‘The transplant’.

This week begins the filming of the latter, ‘The transplant’directed by Bald Savior who also signs the script with Ignatius of Moral. In the distribution of him we will see Javier Gutierrez, Petra Martinez, Carlos Cuevas and Ramon Barea in a fable about a cruel society where only people without resources grow old and die.
“‘El Trasplante’ takes place in the not too distant future, where society has taken its obsession with youth and beauty to such an extreme that life becomes very difficult for those who do not agree to renew their bodies based on a series of operations and transplants”, points out the official synopsis. “The alternative is to belong to the ‘renewed’ class or become a ‘donor’, that is, a supplier of organs for ‘renewals’. A mature couple finds it necessary to renew their bodies to avoid being fired from their jobs. But the money only comes to them for one. They will have to make a decision that will change their lives forever and put everything they have believed in at stake.”
