On the occasion of International Women’s DayByte TI today held a new meeting in which Ignacio Sáez, Managing Director of MKM Publicaciones, publishers of Byte TI, had the opportunity to chat with a total of eight women who hold positions in the world of technology about the Role of Women in the ICT Sector.

- Eva Martínez Hernández, HR Director of Viewnext (IBM group)
- Susana Duran, VP Engineer at Sage
During the webinar, aspects such as the obstacles that women can encounter throughout their careers, STEM or educationwhere neither in the first educational cycles nor in higher education is it encouraged that girls and young people bet on technical training.
And it is that, the female representation in technology management positions, women are underrepresented in a sector dominated mostly by men. Fortunately, little by little this is changing, although perhaps not at the rate it should.
