Tim Burton fans will be able to enjoy the filmmaker’s work like never before. In September, ‘Tim Burton, the labyrinth’ will open its doors in Madrid, an immersive exhibition focused on the work of the famous filmmaker. Do you dare to enter the mind of the director of ‘Edward Scissorhands’ or ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’?
This initiative created by LETSGO consists of a labyrinth in which we will find Burton’s works, from original sketches donated by him to his works of art or scenes from his films. The tour lasts approximately one hour and includes a display of light, music, scenery, technology and costumes..
‘Tim Burton, the labyrinth’ will be located in the Espacio Ibercaja Delicias (Paseo de las Delicias, 61) from September 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday. There will be shows every 30 minutes and tickets are already on sale. General admission is priced at 22 euros for adults and 16 euros for children from 4 to 14 years old. For the most fans, premium tickets are also available at 36 euros that offer direct access at any time, a gift and a 10% discount in the exhibition shop.
Ambassador of Madrid
This exhibition of the filmmaker’s work has been the excuse chosen by the Madrid City Council to grant Tim Burton the title of Ambassador of Madrid. He will be the first to receive this honorable mention created to highlight international personalities who carry out work for the benefit of the Spanish capital.
