While preparing their tenth album, ‘Studio 666’, the Foo Fighters have experienced possessions and encounters with terrifying supernatural entities. Or, at least, that is what they will tell us in the first film starring the band, which will be called the same as their next album, ‘Studio 666’.
The group led by Dave Grohl, former Nirvana drummerrecorded what will be their next album in a mansion in Encino, California, and the band members soon began to notice strange things. The instruments went out of tune, the recorded tracks mysteriously disappeared, indecipherable psychophonies…
“It got to the point where I brought one of those baby cameras that I still had around the house from when my kids slept in their cribs,” Grohl said. “I set it up overnight so we could see if anyone was there or if someone was coming to screw us over. At first, nothing. And just when we thought we were ridiculous and crazy, we started seeing things on camera that we couldn’t explain.”
What did they catch? It seems we will never know. “Then when we learned about the history of the house, I had to sign a fucking nondisclosure agreement with the owner because he’s trying to sell the place.. So I can’t reveal what happened there in the past, but these multiple occurrences in a short period of time made us finish the album as fast as we could.”
However, these paranormal events inspired the Foo Fighters to plan what will be their first moviea tribute to the horror movies of the eighties that will take place during the recording of the album in that same mansion.
