Jong Kook, the youngest member of the Korean pop band BTS, recently spoke about his sense of admiration for the fans known as ARMY. He said that the band’s fans have done a lot of good deeds on behalf of the band, which has affected him.
“I’m just a person who loves to sing, but the fans have done great things,” he says. I am grateful for their support. They have done wonderful things. “They started out to support the BTS group, but later I was very impressed when I saw how much they enjoyed doing good deeds and feeling happy about it.”
When asked how he wants to make up for ARMY’s work, he says: “I do not think there is anything special I can do. “I have come to the conclusion that the only thing I can do for the fans is to try to be great and do what I have to do in the best way possible.”
Jong Kook then talks about his father being a smoker. He says that his father smoked for many years, but Jong Kook became his grandfather so much that he eventually quit smoking. He says he has always wanted his father to quit smoking, and when that finally happens, it brings him a lot of joy.
Jong Kook was also asked about how his parents met. He said that it was actually his mother who approached his father because he liked his attractive appearance. His mother is 2 years younger than his father and the two got married at a young age.
Jong Kook was born on September 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea and has an older brother. He started as the youngest member of the BTS band in 2013 with the release of the single 2Cool 4 Skool.
