Ukraine already has 10,000 Starlink satellite Internet stations and has become one of the world leaders in this regard. Russian hackers are stepping up their efforts to hack Starlink. Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, wrote about it on Twitter:
“Starlink is still resisting Russian cyber warfare attempts to silence and hack (the Starlink system, ed.), but they are stepping up their efforts,” Musk wrote. On February 26, 2022, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, asked Elon Musk to send Starlink stations to Ukraine to access satellite Internet.
Musk agreed to provide the equipment the following day. And the first batches of satellite Internet stations arrived on February 28. Ukraine already has 10,000 Starlink satellite Internet stations and has become one of the world leaders in this regard.

Starlink is a project of the American company SpaceX to develop a high-performance satellite platform for the manufacture of communication satellites and the launch of a large number of them into space.
The system provides broadband Internet access anywhere in the world. We will recall, the commander of the “Azovstal” Marine Corps turned to Musk for help: “If not you, who?”
On the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. Missile strikes were carried out on various military installations in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnieper, and Russian troops crossed the border near Kharkiv.
The Armed Forces, all state law enforcement and special agencies were alerted. The invaders began an intense bombardment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the east: the Ukrainian army repulsed the Russian troops.
Elon Musk claims an army of Russian hackers are trying to break Starlink
Working in emergency mode, the Ukrainian National Defense and Security Council try to sustain the resistance. Martial law was imposed. Keep in mind that in just one month, the occupying forces lost more personnel and equipment in Ukraine than in the 10-year war in Afghanistan.
Russian losses also exceed those of its army in both Chechen wars. Furthermore, Russia’s losses in personnel, tanks, and aircraft exceed the size of few other armies around the world. It is known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed 12 Russian generals at the front.
Without a doubt, the internet has become another battle space in the face of the illegal occupation of Ukraine; something in which Putin and his radical Soviet left are already veterans, with decades of experience at the head of the feared KGB in times of the cold war.
