FRAMES
- The most anticipated movies of 2022
Matt Reves has clashed with ‘The Batman’ to one of the biggest challenges of his career: telling the character in the cinema as if it were the first time. FOTOGRAMAS has spoken with the director and with Robert Pattinson about the new, ‘auteur’ and long-awaited reinvention of the legend, which is finally hitting theaters.
And this month, when the Malaga Festival is being held, Spanish cinema will also flood our billboards. One of the most anticipated titles is ‘Malnazidos’, the ‘zombie civil war’ directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera and Alberto de Toro with Miki Esparbé, Álvaro Cervantes, Aura Garrido, Luis Callejo, Dafnis Balduz, María Botto, Manel Llunell and Sergio Torrico . We will also see ‘They arrived at night’, the new Imanol Uribe with Juana Acosta; ‘Camera Café: The Movie’, directed by Ernesto Sevilla and which brings together the cast of the famous comic strip; ‘Emperor Code’, under the orders of Jorge Coira; and ‘The top’, with Patricia López Arnáiz and Javier Rey.
European titles are also the protagonists of our pages this month. Audrey Diwan (‘The Event’), Cécile de France (‘Lost Illusions’), Joachim Trier (‘The Worst Person in the World’), Mamoru Hosoda (‘Belle’) or François Cluzet (‘The Man in the Basement’) These are just some of our interviews.
In addition, our MULTISCREEN section opens with the first exclusive images of ‘The Gypsy Bride’, a series by Paco Cabezas that adapts the best-seller by Carmen Mola.
