However, in a recent interview with Esquire, the actor has stated that “prejudice is a disease. It is a disease throughout our culture. In my work, sure, but in general people prejudge people without really basing it on anything, and it’s very sad. Look at the reactions when Rob was cast as Batman, they were 90% negative. Daniel Craig as James Bond were 100% negative. It’s worrying when you see how angry people get with casting decisions.”
