The 4th industrial revolution, and as a consequence the technologies of industry 4.0, have transformed the way of operating in value chains. With the aim of gaining competitiveness and efficiency, IoT or AI-based devices are being the engines of change in all kinds of sectors.
To delve into this topic, the sixth edition of DES – Digital Enterprise Showwill offer a specific Industry 4.0 forum to discuss the current challenges to which digitization can contribute.

DES2022 will focus on the possible gaps that AI-driven decisions can create in terms of its use, for example, in the field of human resources. Likewise, César Franco, dean of the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid, together with Lionel Albert, Senior Director for Manufacturing Solutions of Oracle EMEA, will present the challenges of industry 4.0 in terms of the current challenge of the climate crisis.
Javier Ferrer Vicent, the creator of WiTraC, a Valencian startup that offers prescription and traceability for supply chains, will address the same line; and Alejandro Cadenas, an expert in the management and maintenance of industrial facilities and processes, who will present three projects focused on three different sectors, but with the same objective: to achieve the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda.
