Dynatrace has extended the capabilities of the Dynatrace platform’s version validation processes to provide self-certification from a user experience standpoint and assurance at every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). By automatically incorporating information about the user experience – including application availability, performance and feature compliance – the Dynatrace platform enables DevOps and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) continuously evaluate their applications against service level objectives (SLO’s) specific, measurable and achievable. This enables teams to automatically improve software quality and resiliency with reduced manual efforts at any scale.
New capabilities automate time-consuming version validation processes
These enhancements to the Dynatrace platform leverage data from simulated software testing processes that mimic real user action and end-to-end transactions. Davis, the platform’s AI engine automatically combines test results with rich observability data to provide instant and accurate feedback on user interactions with applications.
For Steve Tack, senior vice president of product management at Dynatrace, “the new capabilities automate time-consuming version validation processes and provide immediate and accurate information about how users will experience an application once it’s live. The combination of this functionality along with the platform’s many integrations with the key tools of DevSecOps enables teams to drive higher performance, while ensuring their highest standards and safety, as well as confidently innovate to ensure competitive advantage.”
