WhatsApp earlier in the beta allowed you to check and listen to voicemails before sending them. Now this feature is available for the stable version of these messengers on iOS, Android, web and desktop, and with its help you can prevent sending incorrect voice messages to your audience.
According to information on the WhatsApp website, this feature appears when you press the stop button to finish the recording. Then you can listen to your message with the help of the triangular play button. If you are not satisfied with the status of the message, delete it with the help of the trash can icon, and if the message is appropriate, send it to the recipient.
Voice message preview is one of the new voice message updates that has just been released or is still under development. WhatsApp a few months ago made it possible to set the speed of playback of messages so that you can save time if you encounter long voice messages.
The WABetaInfo website says that users will soon have another option to pause and resume recording voice messages. This feature is currently in the beta version of WhatsApp iOS and has not yet been made public. In addition, WhatsApp has confirmed that it has begun work on developing a voice-to-text capability so that you might one day be able to view voice messages as text.
The company is also said to be working on a global voice messaging player that allows users to continue listening to voice messages even if they go to other chats. Unfortunately, it is not clear at this time when these features will be available. But for now, as soon as you can listen to them before sending voice messages, it’s a good improvement.
