Grupo Bimbo redefines the job

Logitech has collaborated with Grupo Bimbo in the implementation of video collaboration technology, in order to modernize the Group’s offices in Spain and bet on new working modalities.

The technological project has begun to be deployed in the offices that the company has in Barcelona, ​​located in the Santa Perpetua plant. Thanks to Logitech’s video collaboration solutions, the initiative allows to reduce the number of solutions installed in the rooms.

“It is essential to incorporate holistic tools that offer flexibility, great interoperability, compatibility and that adapt to the different needs of Grupo Bimbo; in addition to offering us a secure, flexible and interoperable work environment, at a reasonable cost”, explains Franklin Romero, Iberia Infrastructure IT Project Support of the firm.

Infrastructure for video collaboration

With this project, which is being carried out with the implementation of different Logitech collaboration and videoconference solutions, and which has been integrated into the company’s hybrid work model, the necessary infrastructure has been deployed to favor video collaboration, depending on the needs of each room, work to be done or work team.

To do this, different Logitech solutions have been incorporated depending on the size of the meeting rooms and the needs of the offices, such as Rally, a high-quality video collaboration tool for medium-sized rooms and Rally Plus, for large rooms. In addition to the use of Meetup, an all-in-one conferencing solution with an ultra wide angle lens for small rooms, and Tap Scheduler to manage meeting room reservations intuitively and easily.

With the incorporation of these systems and equipment as the spearhead of Grupo Bimbo’s job redefinition project, it is possible to save hours of transfers and their costs; as well as increase productivity and agility in processes. All this, with simplicity in use and management, without the need for prior knowledge, in addition to dynamism and compatibility with different devices.

At this point, the quality, simplicity and interoperability of Logitech’s video collaboration solutions have been the key to its implementation in the company’s office modernization plan.
