“We are no longer in Hawkins”, read the motto of season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’, the most successful of the Netflix series that has just caused a shock among its dedicated fandom with the end of its penultimate batch of chapters in which we met new characters (where have you seen the new actors of ‘Stranger Things’), an unstoppable enemy and we suffered along the way until reach an end from which, inevitably, not everyone came out unscathed. Yes the end of season 4 part 1 of ‘Stranger Things’ left us petrified it was because we did not expect what would come next.
Brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, creators of the series, now have carte blanche from a channel willing to milk the demogorgon to the last drop. After the end of season 4 Part 2 of ‘Stranger Things’, we are clear that the final battle is more than close. However, it has been confirmed that season 5 of ‘Stranger Things’ will have a time jump, just like the beginning of the fourth. “I’m sure we’ll do a time jump,” the bosses told TVLine. “Ideally, we would have shot [las temporadas cuatro y cinco] one after another, but there was simply no viable way to do it. So these are all discussions that we’re going to have with our writers when we get the room up and running.”
And all this will not be the end since, although the misadventures of Eleven and company, the Duffers and Netflix will end they will continue to expand their universe in a sequel series but how?
We review some ideas that, more or less valued by the networks, could end up being part of the script room of Upside Down Pictures, the company recently released by the brothers.
Stranger Things: Welcome to the 90’s
Exhausted the 80’s, let’s go with the 90’s. Repeating the successes of the original series but adapting its setting to a nineties environment could sufficiently refresh the idea without losing its essence.
Who killed Tiffany Campbell? A young woman appears brutally murdered and some of her high school classmates, obsessed with ‘The X-Files’, they decide to investigate the case.
Momentarily parking their PlayStation and Nintendo 64, and with grunge as their secret weapon, Bill Clinton and Boris Yeltsin would smile from the television between episodes of ‘Seinfeld’.
The ‘Pulp Fiction’ posters would adorn the rooms of some characters involved in a less fanciful and somewhat more scientific plot, smelling like Michael Crichton from ‘Jurassic Park’ and that, at the end of the second season, he would return to space.

Together they will travel the country turned into investigators of the paranormal. Or in treasure hunters. Or in ice cream parlors, whatever they want!
Be careful, at the end of each chapter they must contact their chief of operations, Erica Sinclair (Priah Ferguson). Max’s (Sadie Sink) cameo in the last chapter is not ruled out, promising his inclusion in the second season.

Stranger Things: Death Metal
Eddie is dead, long live Eddie! His sacrifice was not overlooked, as well as his tribute to the Metallica theme of the moment, so good old Eddie Munson has a new opportunity to walk among the living but, at the same time, he is claimed by the king of the dead.
Trapped in hell, this “Holy Diver” must explore the wastelands while forming a gang with different demons and banshees. Together they must open the doors that will lead them to the next level, slowly approaching the throne of Satan himself.
There is no time to lose, the “Black Sabbath” is approaching and it could be your only chance to ascend to the cemetery where his remains rest to possess them again and become, once and for all, the “Master of Puppets”.
