That there is a lack of cybersecurity professionals is a reality, but it is surely as real as the fact that many companies have not just assumed the new cost of these professionals, nor the great segmentation that exists in them. It is easy to find job offers looking for a full stack security, a security professional expert in almost all fields, when in fact what is needed is a cybersecurity team.
Of course these realities will depend on the contracting company, its exposure, its size, its technological park, etc, but these multilayer profiles are usually difficult to find, expensive and often with not as extensive knowledge in each task as was sought, because really what you are trying to look for is a unicorn.
Special mention should be made of the offers that require extensive experience in totally opposite products, and that one can hardly have worked on, looking for the football simile that is so popular, it is like looking for a player who has played for Real Madrid and Barcelona, having found them, but they are the white blackbirds in the flock.

I think it is time to make a big sit-in, for companies to be aware of what they need, what the market offers and how to reach it. But not everything is on the roof of employers, workers must also be aware of what their fields of experience are, how to add more value to their resume, and above all, be clear about the salary ranges in which they can/should move.
Special mention for the recruiters, without a doubt one of the players with a most thankless task who, in many cases, has not even been trained for this purpose. And this lack of knowledge of the environment ends up leading to cold door actions, often requesting skills that the supposed candidate clearly does not have or even offering jobs hierarchically inferior.
What does seem clear is that we are not facing the bubble that many predicted, but rather a new labor paradigm that has perhaps arrived in a rush: it is time to adapt and survive.
