Insurance companies have advanced their digital strategies during 2021, and their plans are allowing them to increase their digital income. This is what emerges from the study “Digital Priorities 2022” that has just been published by the digital consultancy Multiplica.
In this sense, 75% of the insurance companies that have participated in the survey are increasing their budget items to develop their digital strategy and 25% affirm that they remain the same.
Investment areas in 2022 of insurers
Insurers will continue to promote their digital strategies to improve customer service and increase their digital business. In this sense, the four main priorities they have this year are:
- get to know your customers better through data-driven strategies
- launch new mobile digital products
- improve customer experience
- identify the LTV of customers to gain their loyalty through the creation of personalized services
75% of insurers will allocate more money to their digital strategies in 2022
To achieve this, 80% of them have set themselves the goal of improving the digital services offered to their customers. In this area “there is still a long way to go in the basic improvement of the digital private areas of customers, but above all, in the incorporation of value-added products and services”, the report underlines.
Lastly, following on the list is continuing to promote digitization to reduce service costs and gain efficiency, according to 50% of participating insurers; be faster in launching new products and services, and modernize the experience to attract younger customers. These last two objectives have been cited by 30% of those surveyed.
