Exchange of positions in the Microsoft Management Committee that supposes that Antonio Budia leaves his position of Director of Operations and Marketing that will be occupied by Carolina Castillo. The new manager will aim to consolidate the growth of the multinational in our country and to do so, she must continue promoting strategic alliances and sustainable innovation projects in Microsoft’s main clients, both in the public sector and in the business world.
The board of directors assumes this new responsibility after three years as director of the Microsoft Partners division in Spain, a company she joined in 2016 as director of the Consumer Division. She has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Simón Bolívar University of Caracas (Venezuela), and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University (Illinois, USA).
For his part, Budia will begin to occupy, as of July 1, the position left vacant by Castillo. The director has more than twenty years of experience in the technology industry, having held different positions of responsibility in Microsoft Spain and Latin America, including Marketing, Channel, Microsoft 365 business unit management positions, as director of Sales and Partners, and, more recently, Director of Operations and Marketing. Budia is a Computer Engineer from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas – ICAI, has a degree in Marketing from ICADE, an executive degree in Business Marketing Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and a PDG (General Management Program) from IESE.
The idea of this exchange of management positions is to strengthen the Microsoft management team in Spain, taking advantage of the experience of both managers in the areas of sales, marketing and operations in different divisions of the company, including partners, SMEs and the consumption.
