To date, no one has been able to travel in time, yet many people are working on it, and now a physicist using mathematics has reported the possibility of time travel without creating a paradox.
In many films, time travel is depicted, but in most of them, we see many problems after the end of the journey, and in them, the constitutions of the world are questioned. For example, suppose you travel to the past and prevent your parents from getting to know you, thereby questioning your very existence.
This important issue is known as the “grandfather paradox”, but recently a physics student from the University of Queensland, Australia, German Tuber, announced that he was working on “square numbers” to make time travel possible without creating a paradox. Tuber said:
“Classical dynamics says that if you know the status of a system at a certain time, you will get the history of the system. “Einstein’s theory of general relativity, however, predicts time cycles or time travel, where events can occur in the past and in the future.”
The physicist’s calculations show that space-time can adapt to avoid paradox. For example, imagine a person traveling to the past to prevent the spread of a disease, if this mission is successful, there is no disease to defeat in the past.
Tuber’s study, published in the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity, points out that the disease spreads in other ways and can prevent paradoxes, and that the traveler can not stop the disease no matter what he does.
Understanding Tuber’s work is not easy for ordinary people, but this study examines the effect of deterministic and non-random processes on several arbitrary regions in space-time and shows how a closed time curve such as Einstein predicted could be governed by free and physical will laws. This research confirms another hypothesis in the field of time travel. According to this hypothesis, time travel is possible, but time travelers are limited in their ability to do things and cannot do anything that creates paradox. There is no such limitation in the new model and the paradox is impossible.
Despite such research, as well as other extensive research, time travel is impossible now and we should not wait for the construction of a time machine in the near future.
